GHK Vol4 Video Poster

Combining an entirely new format in videography with existing graphic design conventions, our event poster is a first in nightlife promotion and in advertising. It’s a poster that blends a series of still posters and a nightlife promo video in one. Pick the still frame you like the best and let us know which one.

Shot entirely on a vertical orientation with a 5D mkII and a 50mm prime, the video showcases our DJs and our guests from the show GoodHouseKeeping Vol4 and is actually a preview for the next video poster of our next show.

Following the trend of moving posters of movies such as Terminator and Saw as well as the moving magazine cover shot for Esquire by Greg Williams, our video poster takes the concept of moving posters and covers up a notch by being shot in HD entirely on a vertical resolution. Therefore it is not a crop done in post but an entire production that is tailored to creating a poster format that was never seen before.

The video poster and VHD (Vertical High Definition) is a new form of media that is ideal for devices such as mobile phones, pads and vertically oriented displays such as digital outdoor ad spaces as well as LCD displays in various venues.
